I HEARD A GREAT HORNED OWL. one of my birding goals is to see any owl outside a zoo. I just moved here and the lack of birds near our home has made me sad. but hearing this owl was such a fun surprise tonight.

There’s an owl (don’t know type) that hangs out at the playground in our neighborhood at night. First time I saw it, I stood frozen in place, amazed that it would be out in the open.
Then as I walked away, I kept looking behind me, realizing I’d never hear it coming if it decided to engage 🦉

No gas station near me has nitrogen so it had to be Costco. I topped off air and also filled gas while I was there. It’s only 5 miles from me, so overall not bad.
Spent months pair-building a full telecom BSS with an AI. The surprise wasn't the code — it was that the real job became verification. The AI read 450 tokens for every 1 it wrote. Turns out building honestly is mostly re-reading.

Frustrated with my phone usage again tonight, I uninstalled several pointless and time-consuming apps. It’s a cycle I repeat every few months.
