A thing I've been doing lately is trying to come to the same conclusions others have without looking their the direct techniques and code. Onboarded on Claude Team with Unlimited credit usage. In the first day, subscription limits were hit and then it silently went on spending 530 EUR in credits before I noticed.
In a single day? That’s insane. It’s 5 months on the 100$ Codex which is practically unlimited.
In a few hours, yes. Token-based pricing is insane.
I knew token-based was more expensive but didn’t imagine that much. Which is why u can’t compete making alternative coding agents, their own subscriptions are much cheaper, but why they do it on their own Teams package is weird. Maybe targetting companies they feel they can pay.
I've linked up my blog (jeff-mitchell.dev) to
textlog. I hope to use the two things together now to build a bit more of a writing habit. The 500 character increase is nice, room to breath but not an essay. Gotta build the muscles slowly :)
