Somehow, I can't work in the mornings. Going to the office earlier just makes longer the "warmup period", this is, the period I stare the computer's screen reading stuff that is completely unrelated to my work. #ASDnotesfollow

There are many distractions. Much is way too verbose. A calm, quiet and โdistraction lessโ experience suits me better. I am not sure my thoughts will fit in 280 characters, but letโs try and see how far that goes.
Most of programs use key chords, like Cmd-Shift-G, Ctrl-Alt-N and so on, you need to remember and press awkwardly several keys at once.
#Emacsnotesfollow uses key sequences, C-c then k then p then l.
If I forget after C-c k p then press C-h and help appears.
Onboarded on Claude Team with Unlimited credit usage. In the first day, subscription limits were hit and then it silently went on spending 530 EUR in credits before I noticed.
I knew token-based was more expensive but didnโt imagine that much. Which is why u canโt compete making alternative coding agents, their own subscriptions are much cheaper, but why they do it on their own Teams package is weird. Maybe targetting companies they feel they can pay.
Yes, that's for enterprises, that want SSO, governance, budgeting, data protection, etc etc. For C-level they are interested in "how much do we pay for AI", and with personal subscriptions you can't answer => can't manage it. This 530 EUR is the price for that learning.
Sunk cost fallacy is no longer applicable in the age of #AInotesfollow. Now you can do broad changes without second thought, u can always revert back, without incurring the cost of doing so, since itโs all done so quickly and effortlessly.
My biggest problem nowadays is realizing that the coding was never the real problem, it was always lack of domain knowledge, lack of specs or just conflicting visions.
You look in the corner, you see a guy quietly eating cigarette butts. It's ok. He's dealing with a lot of stress from work. He takes care of his family. Capitalism

We havenโt figured out yet. Maybe we never will.

Hey, hi! This is a Spanish speaker who joined out of curiosity. I don't think I'll be around much, but I'm here for now.

I naively went into a work problem thinking that RAG was solved by the service offered at work, and wow was I wrong. Been a fun week so far experimenting with many different methods before doing the academic research, and it's been nice to be validated by outside research.

creator of textlog, will it possible, on mobile, to be able to tap on โcardsโ. That is, make the posts area โtapableโ.
This is very welcome! I don't know how many times I had already tapped posts to go to the comment chain, just to realize that wasn't the place ^โ _โ ^
