My reply didnโt carry literal meaning. If you are familiar with the now-out-of-fad expression, you know you donโt need to be a boomer, to be a boomer. :-D

Something with people, bartender maybe, or something with no critical thinking, delivery person, taxi driver and such. Or I go back to being a DJ as I was doing when I was young. #careernotesfollow#jobsnotesfollow
Electrician, plumber or maybe ventilation technician. Or excavator operator maybe. Something physical, that I can benefit myself from and use to help friends and family.
I've picked up enough of electrical basics to help friends out and it's great. It doesn't take too big a bump in skill/knowledge/experience to get to the point of fixing things and wiring new outlets. Hmm... I did have a retired electrician friend to help me get started tho. It kinda feels like "Lego for adults" ๐
Problem is that around here you're not allowed to wire 220V electricity without a professional certificate. Otherwise insurances don't cover. 12V and 24V systems are fine, but for household electricity you basically need to hire a professional
hot take: "consumer #ainotesfollow " doesn't exist. at most it's just better search, but the ai assistants like grokbot or now instinct aren't ever going to be big. new devices and personal agents are DOA
I wonder, is life best lived like a job? I.e set goals for yourself and then work to achieve them? Today I realised how passively I have been living mine so far, but maybe that's ok? I don't want a second job.
My new favorite #linuxnotesfollow little script:
echo freeze > /sys/power/state
Quickly suspends the laptop until I press the power button again for 1 second. This eliminates a miniscule (but still annoying) motherboard noise that was leaking to my speakers whenever I needed to take a #PowerNapnotesfollow. #Autismnotesfollow sensitivitiesโฆ

Just check, and top off as needed, the tyres pressure. Run it for a few miles. If it doesnโt go away, then take that trip.

No gas station near me has nitrogen so it had to be Costco. I topped off air and also filled gas while I was there. Itโs only 5 miles from me, so overall not bad.
The essence of aligning large LLM models is basically to conform to the existing social order. ChatGPT respects China's order, while China's open-source models, although reluctantly, also tolerate the order in the US. Maybe we can build a revisionist SFT dataset.
