this is mainly a problem of switches. get a keyboard formfactor you like with a good body and replacable switches. thatll be the only keyboard you need for the rest of your life. if you want to change things up, buy new switches and caps. i personally use Outemu Silent Lime V3 Silent Tactile switches from aliexpress, and highly recommend them as they are cheap, feel awesome and are very quiet

I really enjoy low-profile keyboards for this very reason. Depending on your system of course, but the most silent keyboard I've used (and still use) is the Mac Magic Keyboard. But most low profile ones are in my experience pretty quiet.

And yet, homes remain chronically under-managed. Cars have service records. Portfolios have dashboards. Homes have a junk drawer full of manuals and receipts. This leads to problems that degrade a home's value over time. Deferred maintenance snowballs from small issues to emergency repairs costing thousands. Listening to this I had an AHA moment. When the powers that be made more and more LLM tokens the whole goal, I thought it was quite stupid. But I realized that for them it made sense, because in their managerial understanding of programming, they believed the output of LLMs is the best they could get for the money.

i think theyre pretty cool. the tech market is too safe nowadays.
Totally, I'm glad they're at least trying something new (for Apple). It just underscores the general failure of imagination vibes I get from everything in tech nowadays. Most of the industry is breathlessly chasing a 20th century "golden age of scifi" vision of AI. And Apple's over there diligently trying to improve upon other companies' products from five years ago. At least no one's talking about the metaverse anymore.
yea its kind of sad how the design language has all converged to the same phones and laptops. 1990s/2000s tech had so much swag and fun with design, especially japanese brands. i like what nothing does, the uk smartphone brand. at least they have some identity. and yea the metaverse to my mind was just a meme eversince they introduced it, like I know exactly 0 ppl that own a vr headset, and im with the nerds here. just shows zuck is surrounded by yes men
