WezTerm. Completely replaced my usage of Tmux, Zellij and the like. Having the multiplexer (both local and remote) built into the terminal emulator itself is such a win.

Ghostel on emacs + claude = super combo

Thanks for the recommendation!

Some days I wonder what is better, to open emacs in ghostty or to open ghostel in emacs. Or both at the same time. ;-)

I’m not an emacs user but always liked it as an idea. I’ve tried it in whatever flavour was the Vim thing. Spacemacs I think. Will have to check Ghostel

Ooh. It is a ghostty powered terminal!

All the tools I vibecode. I use them almost every day.
Spotlight on macOS broke one day and didn’t recover. Now I have my own personal version.
I don’t trust any of the Password management software, so - personal version.
Entertainment software sucks and ended up asking for too much money…
Fetching videos from the internet was cumbersome - personal version.
Photo management software is not how my hundreds of thousands of photos and videos are structured, so…

I'm starting to ride this path
I was using this combination and zellij is buggy when comes to source file or root folder changes and resource consuming. Then I moved to tmux + wezterm

zellij too. I am sure it works great for many. I am too entrenched into tmux, will always find something to complain if I try to switch. And I have tried many times.agenttop.dev - much need tool in current time to monitor what's happening across harness or Agents that running in my Mac.

I’m not supposed to take that literally of course, but I don’t think software has such an important role in our lives, for most of us. Water, food, air. Those you can’t live without. When it comes to software, I spend most of my workdays in the shell (vim, git, grep,…) and if $place allows in mutt+weechat (although that’s mostly outlook and teams). Nothing particularly new!

I have been using
Wezterm, Aerospace on Mac, Neovim is something that I need. My config blows up on my powkiddy, (oomkilled) other than that its perfect, and on linux its vivaldib+ ublock origin, My self hosted jf + bookserver and using webdav for obsidian notes backup was the life saving trick i needed
Not exactly "recent", but recently dived into Guile Scheme and it has totally consumed almost all of my coding work. I used Common Lisp before but this dialect is without a doubt the best and simplest of the Lisp family.

mise-en-place
Personally, mise is more "try in hurry" compatible. So it stuck.
I have tried devenv as it seems to greatly simplify the setup. However, I had to get something done in a hurry. Tried devenv (which I installed around the time they launched) and got stuck with a load of outdated nix IIRC. So I also gave a quick try with mise, got started with fnox and it was considerably easier to get going.
