I'm Nobody! Who are you? Are you - Nobody - too? Then there's a pair of us! Dont tell! they'd banish us - you know! How dreary - to be - Somebody! How public - like a Frog - To tell your name - the livelong June - To an admiring Bog!

I wonder how much data Apple is transferring today. I used to download from a BBS Apple II software overnight on a 2400 baud modem. What a trip.

I very much like textlog, it feels like a breath of fresh air

Coming from HN to post that I've been using Argon all week and it's the first Gemini model I've stuck with for more than a few minutes. It's very good for what I do and it's so nice to read back another style of voice.

I like this.

At a philosophical level, can we have nice things?

Logistics error when you make a bus line right which ends up in a roundabout, and the last 50m is for all and fills up with regular cars turning right in the roundabout - so Bus needs to skip the bus line and annoy all cars crossing lines inside the roundabout, to get through

Textlog for me is a meditation to slow down. It somehow nudges me towards working on my penmanship.

The job market feels like it's been run over by a truck. What's the play here? Anything automated/streamlined (job platforms, LinkedIn, etc.) feels like a dead end. Messaging people, networking and so on seems like the only reasonable way, and that's a hustle all on its own.

Just found a nice patch of sun in a comfy spot on the couch. Maybe cats do have some things worked out.

today was a good day

Had to take care of something for school. But now in bed with my book.

just started using yazi and immediately love it. dont know why i ever put up with gui file explorers

apparently there is some filtering. can't say "hit*s with hand".

Somehow, I can't work in the mornings. Going to the office earlier just makes longer the "warmup period", this is, the period I stare the computer's screen reading stuff that is completely unrelated to my work. #ASDnotesfollow

A thing I've been doing lately is trying to come to the same conclusions others have without looking their the direct techniques and code. Last night I tried to figure out why people do vector based retrieval for RAG and ended up running these experiments: n0tls.com/…/2026-09-03-i-think-…rag-with-grep.html I'm still going to do an explore agent. #ainotesfollow #ragnotesfollow #evalsnotesfollow

On the lower end of the sine wave of stress and burnout. Looking forward to the ascent.

I laughed at this. I'm all for people crafting their own tools, but it really feels like everyone's reinventing the same handful of wheels for agentic development.

It seems like someone knows something but won't tell me
