I direct a plan, then break it into phases, and each phase into sections with tasks and sub-tasks. You have #kakounenotesfollow, there is no need. I tried Emacs out a while ago to see whether it could replace Kakoune (I wanted to draw arbitrary stuff like images, 3D views, etc., in the editor) but honestly, Kakoune makes everything so easy to integrate that it was hard for it to compete.

I've been on a kick lately of trying to visualize the oscillating clock, and ultimately the effectively arbitrarily complex activity of a computer processor, as modern refinements of the line shaft factory of the 19th century. Of compute as being not much more than profoundly refined "work" delivered by the electrical grid into marvelously complex machines. I love how dates go so well with cashews. So at least once a day, I grab about 5 whole cashews and 1 date. Itโ€™s a perfect little snack!
