Coding is so passe. Dont feel like coding at all

it's called prompting now. old man.

The rise of postmodern cuisine: "The beverage's photogenic bright green color proved particularly well-suited to social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, helping it gain viral popularity among wellness enthusiasts and influencers." (Wikipedia, "Matcha")

Feather to paper that's moon inked for you -- a greeting from somewhere. It isn't for you. But it will be for you.

Have recently consolidated my different chat apps (Signal, Slack, WhatsApp, Discord, Google Messages) into a single Matrix client + bridges - I'm 100% sold on Matrix.

You never tried IRC, did you? Good luck on Slomatrix! 😅

Huge refactor today, moved from sync SQLite to Worker based, touched 88 files, pre- it would have taken a week or so, finished now in ~1:30h. And I wouldn’t have the confidence I have now that it went correct. It went well, though a bug or two might surface, we’ll see.

Good work! What motivated the refactor exactly? I'm not familiar at all with Worker

…

SQLite is embedded in the main thread same as the HTTP server. I noticed some requests dropping and because the queries have become more complex I figured it has to do with SQLite blocking for too much time. Moving it to a Worker makes the DB asynchronous and bypass this problem.

Huge refactor and no bugs. I’m genuinely impressed by the quality of output of GPT 5.6 Sol.

guess who found some really cool book in my house!!! me! it's called the secret teachings of all ages.. should I give this a SHOT!!?!??

Past year's personal projects that went viral: Yet I'm poor and can't get an interview :S how do I solve this?

personal projects probably just arent the right knob if you want to get unpoor. if you want my honest advice i would recommend not showing hallucinate to potential employers, its landing page looks one-shot claude and is gpu heavy. but the others look very nice.

nice to hear though! did you like it? living in berlin for 6 years now

loved it, I visit whenever I can, it's my favorite place on earth :D tried to live there many times, even had a job two times but it didn't work out. The air is different.

its a rough but very lovable place i agree ^^ maybe youll find your way back!

…

Do your stuff well, with love, and life will sort it out.

By the way, I visited the rave and it is a good party! The current DJ is blowing it. I already have a soundtrack for today.

I work with c# and distributed systems. Anyone with experience in that domain?

I really like this minimal approach, I wish the maintainer great success with textlog. whatever that may look like to them :) I will make sure to check in occasionally.

Hell must have frozen over. I just installed Openclaw on my Linux box. I had already cobbled together an agent like thing (pi) that I talked to over Telegram, so I figured, let's give Openclaw 2.0 a try, locked down completely at first, but slowly opened up over time.

Water sort is a fun game available on fdroid on Android devices.

Nice! Was an opportunity to install F droid also, didn’t know it can be installed like a normal app, I was under the impression it was an OS replacement. This is neat, perhaps we can deploy textlog app there? cc

Certainly think so! I just hope to get rid of the scan warning at one point cause it's also annoying..

Do you code in silence or do you listen to music? If so, what kind of music do you prefer? Personally, I prefer Synthwave, vaporwave or the occasional country.

Awesome! Let me know what you think!

…

Man this was so up my alley. Thank you for these recommendations, several of these tunes have gone straight in on my "WUBRG Goodstuff" playlist

I used to listen to marketing team say zingers like

twenty twenty vision in $current_year (before 2020)
I don't disagree but... (What does that even mean‽)

Because office floor plans I am very thankful to work from home now... In complete silence.

Oh wow, this I feel in my soul. I am so glad I work from my own office nowadays and don't need to listen to these constant non-conversations marketing people tends to have

good videogame music is often my coding sweet spot--no lyrics, something familiar

…

I can recommend rainwave.cc if you want an online radio for video game music. I tend to hang around there quite often and listen to their chiptune station.

The interface here is clean and simple; I really love this design.

az Ubuntu pedig a sandboxban fut, fut, futrinkázik, de egyelőre csak hollandul hajlandó velem kommunikálni

and Ubuntu runs, runs, and plays around in the sandbox, but for now it only wants to communicate with me in Dutch

But I already have a first note

What does a bean mean?

Depends. Is it cool?
