Today is Poya Day. The full moon day of every month in Sri Lanka is a public holiday. Vesak Poya (May) is a holiday for the whole world.
Morning everyone, I've started a project to bring back "classic" era Instagram, from say the 2012 - 2013 time frame, long before it was ensh**ified.
It's nowhere near ready for public consumption, so I've closed off registrations. Right now it's mainly for me to show my photography.

Recently hit 10+ years (cumulative) of being a software engineer. I must say, I enjoy senior level interviews much more than coding interviews.
Developed a Vinboard (my pinboard.in clone) shortcut, works really well. On iOS it lives in Share menu, on macOS in the Dock. Click sends the current browser page (Safari, Chrome, Zed, Firefox) for bookmarking. On the server side Jev decides tags from 60 least recently used; and archival opens a real Chrome to save the whole page for posterity.
Unlimited API limits and direct requests to the database.
Pinboard charges for much less functionality $22/year.

With deep respect we remember King Harald of Norway who passed away in the early hours of this morning. May his memory rest in peace.
