Somehow, I can't work in the mornings. Going to the office earlier just makes longer the "warmup period", this is, the period I stare the computer's screen reading stuff that is completely unrelated to my work. #ASDnotesfollow

I remain #AInotesfollow ambiguous. This morning I used pi+gpt5.6 to create a #vimnotesfollow color scheme based on evergarden.moe. It works, and I havenโ€™t checked how well it stay true to the style used in vim-bundled schemas. Before I wouldnโ€™t have done this, and now I can. I have to constantly be working or I get very agitated. Is this #workaholismnotesfollow? I donโ€™t like entertainment other than background music while working and maybe before going to sleep I watch a series on Netflix to relax. Thatโ€™s when Iโ€™m on my introvert mode. When Iโ€™m extrovert (Iโ€™m ambivert) I have to constantly be around people and outdoors, I get agitated indoors, canโ€™t work at all and definitely canโ€™t watch anything. How do these two personalities co-exist in me?

Quebec City is pretty amazing. Excellent food, tons to see and do, surrounded by nature, mountains, islands. My kind of place.

Do you live there or are just visiting? I remember feeling so at home there as a kid. I never kept my French up so I don't think I could ever move there.

Visiting, for the first time. It's about a 9 hour drive from home so we've never made the trip, but so worth it. Went to Ile d'Orleans yesterday, just... so quiet and beautiful. Seems a bit of a paradise, haven't even made it up to the natl park(s) yet. My French is coming back a little each day, made it all the way through the coffee order just now :)

This resonated a lot. Iโ€™m glad I read it now, before going totally insane lol. But I disagree that itโ€™s just a glorified spreadsheet. The UI/UX matters, how you present the data, how they can change and so on, all of those things play a role. The good thing with AI is iteration is cheaper than ever, so you can experiment and process the results quickly. But yeah sometimes I just do things here because I just have to be doing something, I canโ€™t leave it alone.
Agreed. The "just" makes the statement sound dismissive, but I do agree with the underlying sentiment that most software boils down to CRUD apps that help people organize information and complete tasks more efficiently. I think the path to developer enlightenment is realizing this truth without despairing over it.
