So we can't use em dash anymore — lest we anger the mob. Truth be told though, English teachers have always discouraged em dash overuse because it is a subtle art and very easy to get wrong.

Introduced an MCP server this morning for the app I'm working on (getonmain.com), based on a user request. Curious to see how/if folks use it.

Ordered JBL Charge 6, waiting for delivery today. Will mount into my bike and will listen to music while commuting 25km to the office. I'm a victim of marketing, seeing an ad, buying stuff.

Good Morning from Flagstaff AZ!

A bit of insomnia this early Tuesday morning. I call it “the witching hour”, whatever can go wrong, will go wrong and the brain is defenceless. Reality, of course, is more nuanced, but brain doesn’t care. :)

Hitting a workout streak. I started using ladder app and have been consistent for the last two weeks. Three years ago I was 75 lbs heavier. Now trying to build muscle. Sitting and staring at a screen all day… I did that a bit too much ;)

Denshattack! - easily gets my OST of the year vote. Absolute pleasure to both listen to and play.

Added #meta tag — use it whenever you want to talk about the site itself, and these posts will not show up in all, any or the post’s page. This is to keep the site clear of meta discussions which dominated a lot at this early stage and I think were annoying to many people. I finally got the app!!

Most of programs use key chords, like Cmd-Shift-G, Ctrl-Alt-N and so on, you need to remember and press awkwardly several keys at once. #Emacsnotesfollow uses key sequences, C-c then k then p then l. If I forget after C-c k p then press C-h and help appears.

Bonnie Raitt stuck in my head, who, by some definition, is a nepo baby, but well before the term was coined. I think the problem is obv not family businesses, but a shrinking pool of opportunities for those without a prebuilt network to inherit (or buy).
