I loved the book and I’m always fearful when a movie script is developed and a movie produced, so my relief after I saw the movie was immense. I too feel they’ve cut-out some bits, but the main thing that a book almost always takes my breath away with is fueling my imagination. A movie would (possibly) never nail that aspect.

I just watched it as well. It was fun. There were a number of things that I felt weren't explained well and broke my suspension of disbelief; I haven't read the book, but I found myself really curious whether the book takes the time to justify things more. Obviously, the movie has a lot of pressure to rush to the next "big moment".

If there’s one thing Andy Weir can’t be critiqued on then it’s not fully justifying all of the science. I think the film on the other hand can be hard to follow for someone who has neither read the book nor has a scientific background. It’s just hard to monologue about gravitational forces and relativistic speeds on screen.

So technically I wouldn't call the main terminal a data center, but more of an interrogation room for MI agents. I'm currently stuck installing Windows 11, and I'd like to download some books and scripts just to be safe before I start building the interrogation room. It's really a sandbox here, with nowhere to go except if I send it directly to a web application.

Google also manages the cookie data and other tracking s@rs on the server, I don't really see anything from these, no IP, nothing, Google is more of a search engine than an artificial intelligence application, but today all AI and search engines work with hybrid technology

I can't figure out what's leaking on my '73 F250. Shows up slowly at the back of the oil pan. It's pretty clear because I've recently changed fluids and scrubbed the engine. It was definitely brake fluid for a while after it was overfilled but that has evened out. The oil level is steady after when checking every 10 miles or so. Personally, I think I found good framework/vocabulary to help with meditation in some discussion by Jiddu Krishnamurti. There was a short, to the point lecture where he basically walks you through observing thought, which profoundly changed how I approach meditation but I can't find it for the life of me!

I've been working with physical AI - Letting LLMs control robots in a warehouse to collaborate and collectively come up with a physically correct solution to carry out a natural language intent. We had to study the reactive nature of agents, nudges they required, etc.

haha that's a coincidence. Site looks awesome. The moving away from ROS2 part is so true. One of our main potential customers for physical AI solutions (a telecom provider in JP) communicated the need for agents to be able to pick up controls from any vendor
