#Duckynotesfollow OK-M? I have the previous #versionnotesfollow, 65%, and am very happy with it. I think itโ€™s available both in quiet and noisy #versions (but the two I have are clicketyclicky). ducky ok-m #Keyboardnotesfollow #Technotesfollow

this is mainly a problem of switches. get a keyboard formfactor you like with a good body and replacable switches. thatll be the only keyboard you need for the rest of your life. if you want to change things up, buy new switches and caps. i personally use Outemu Silent Lime V3 Silent Tactile switches from aliexpress, and highly recommend them as they are cheap, feel awesome and are very quiet

I really enjoy low-profile keyboards for this very reason. Depending on your system of course, but the most silent keyboard I've used (and still use) is the Mac Magic Keyboard. But most low profile ones are in my experience pretty quiet.

I see Windows 8-level nonsense (well, Windows 8.1), for me the more complicated interface is a challenge, if the software itself works well, but the beginning is not going too well, I came up with a new philosophical slogan for Windows, which is also a Hungarian saying: "This is it, you have to love it."
been building a voice first os using jev and some small voice models. I'm surprised how well it's working and I'm very close to the point where I can go into a feedback mode and tell it what behavior I want changed, it will spin up Claude or codex inside itself and setup the build to restart itself and continue with new code. tempted to let it build itself completely

Just check, and top off as needed, the tyres pressure. Run it for a few miles. If it doesnโ€™t go away, then take that trip.

No gas station near me has nitrogen so it had to be Costco. I topped off air and also filled gas while I was there. Itโ€™s only 5 miles from me, so overall not bad.

Been a bit quiet here the last week or so. Recovering from ill health, at risk of redundancy, and working on side projects. It's been a bit full on. Does anyone make pay check/cheque money from side projects? Can I use my redundancy runway to turn some websites from side hustle to salary money?

Recovering from ill healthHope youโ€™re feeling better now!Does anyone make pay check/cheque money from side projects?Thatโ€™s the dream, Iโ€™ve only made a few hundreds so far. Iโ€™ve had a machine gun approach. Shoot as many rounds as possible in the hopes I might hit something. #AInotesfollow has helped immensely in this direction. Applied to an L5 software engineering role via e-mail and without any other contact I received back a bunch of questions that clearly look like they're aimed at L6 or even L7. Not sure what to do with that so I withdrew. Briefly considered answering them but was weirded out.
