Went to the summer house to watch the #eclipsenotesfollow but it was cloudy so we missed it. But the kids are asleep so guess I'll light a fire and crack a beer instead. Woe is me!

The interface needs some work. For example, I would like the textarea that I am using right now to be as wide as the header above. Also, where is the character counter?
The Typst language is Turing complete. Does that mean it could be the target of a C compiler? Could I compile the Linux kernel to Typst? Certainly, one could build a mean web server with it. Look out .php, here comes #typstnotesfollow

I made a chrome extension to bring the top Hacker News stories to your new tab, with quick summaries.
So every time you open a new tab, you might discover something everyone else hasnโt heard about yet.

I am a remote worker, and has been for 4 years now. It works great. But the owner of the office I've been renting have sold the building, and the new owner has different visions. I could work from home, but my 3 month daughter is a screamer. I had a great, cheap deal. All alternatives I find is like 3x the price.

I am trying to wrap my head around Traefik (which I have never used; have only used Caddy for most of my needs) to plan a migration for things I now run on "bare metalโ to containers, and then use Traefik as entry point. If you know some good guides, send the link my way, please.

I've been building a Markdown variant called Zd that's focused on extensibility and simplicity. I'm curious what you would change about Markdown if you were designing it from scratch, what challenges you face as a user, or what you wish were easier to do when incorporating Markdown into your own projects.
Yeah, 100%. That is completely something I am punting on currently. It would be easy to just copy over the solution from (extensions to) Markdown, but it's hard to entirely narrow in on both what tables ought to do and how to make them do it.
If you had a magic wand, what would you have them be more like?
Everytime I post something on HN or elsewhere, I get about a dozen or more emails and they're all talking about the same thing; they have a platform and they want to help me grow my business, they promise. They look personalized but they're #ai_slopnotesfollow#spamnotesfollow.
I have something that usually builds, tests, and deploys under five minutes. It has been over two hours and forty eight minutes and it is still going on today... ๐ซฃ
