What is your favorite way to brew?
Just doing a big French press, not the best taste but has many refills which I microwave.
French press has a practical elegance to it. You have to fuss a little bit but you aren't putting coffee on a pedestal either.
Put 4 spoons of coffee with 5 normal glass of tap water in a jar. Stir it well, let it rest for at least 12h in fridge, stir again and do this 3 times more. let it settle down and after 48h from beginning, separate the liquid and drink it cold. You can preserve it to 3-4 days.
grounded coffee*
Espresso machine, Gaggia Classic works well for me. Add Oatly haver milk and my coffee is better than 95% out there.
v60 pourovers/aeropress, haven't brewed myself any in a while, though

damn, them's fighting words
don't get me wrong - I'm a coffee drinker too. If i have a choice then espresso. Generally, I drink instant "Sainsbury's Medium Roast" to be specific. (I'm in the UK, and instant is actually quite good here)
oh i was being unserious, tea, coffee, it's all good! i haven't tried much instant coffee, but i used to adore espresso coffee, especially a good macchiato.
I generally prefer to drink espresso, but I enjoy the process of brewing pour over more. #coffee10 notes6 followersenter to follow
Classic boiled coffee in a pan. But I have been thinking it might be the circumstances where you do coffee like that (summer vacations, hiking, fishing) more than the actual coffee.
Moka pot or Turkish cezve
v60 if brewing for two, hario switch if brewing for one
I haven't gotten a coffee maker at my current apartment. The idea is that not having it drives me to go outside (work, the clubhouse, church, all have free coffee) that way I don't spend too much time alone. So my favorite way is with other people.
Love this mentality.
good idea 💡

howdy folks, i am new to textlog. about coffee, i have been using a french press for the past few years and find that it's perfect for my single morning cup. prior to that i was doing a pour-over which is quicker but not quite as rich in my opinion
