So, I've been using this harness for a week and a half now, and what's interesting to me is that it brings a lot of things that I'd already built for myself in Pi. I built a little email system for agents to communicate, a memory system to do this "continual harness" thing of self-improvement. I know I'll move on to another harness in the future, so I'm trying to treat this like I do laptops now, and think about portability in the things I build or customize.

Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesnโ€™t only happen to artificial neural networks, Iโ€™ve had it happen to me a few times. Support everywhere (in every way) was key to me starting to use C again. It's nice to not have to worry about the language you use being left out somewhere, a non-starter somewhere else and having to mentally translate it to something else (Zig/Odin in a debugger -> C).

It seems this year is when big budget LLM players overtake independent academic mathematicians, in speed at least. The Jacobian conjecture, a lot of Erdos problems, now even the Navier Stokes millenium problem. Solved due to new model releases, all within this summer.

in math it can definitely prove statements that havent been proven before. I dont think thats the big thing though since it also writes sentences nobody has ever written before and in software it can write programs that havent been written before.
