Anyone have any experience with software like that? It'd be nice to be able to tag or categorize pages, and maybe to keep local mirrors for certain ones. I'm open to self-hosting.

I've stopped managing bookmarks after del.icio.us died - now i just hit the browser star but they seem to disappear and never visit them again, apart from the most recent. The situation sucks really. I'm also interested in a good solution.
Itโs using the
/firehose endpoint. Itโs an SSE endpoint publishing everything latest. Though I meant it to be used server-side, since itโs heavily rate-limited โ up to 3 conns under the same network, but I canโt control how clients decide to use it so.. ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏA thing I've been doing lately is trying to come to the same conclusions others have without looking their the direct techniques and code. I'm doing experiments with short attention-span students and code. Starting with python, and, oddly, now working in BASIC. As a C programmer of 40+ years, I find this aesthetically and pedagogically displeasing, but I am delighted to see them getting fully absorbed in writing

Python will come later. one-point-five-shotted a local node app for creating social posts. drawing from static pages (hey this exists) or new blog posts (timely). with copy/paste to x, and one click post to bluesky and mastodon, tag manager and stale/archive/reject/refresh options. An idea and a solution in about 10 minutes. Madness.
