Can you believe the amount of 's and nuance in this site and we're still zero (well the core at least, apart from the notifications). I can't.
Saw it, and loved it! I was about to propose it, as the mobile app has it. It is especially useful for when a thread goes long, to go back where it started.
They're useful for tracking a thread of posts e.g /tag/feature
Aha! That's great. I will never hit the wall, I use none. :-D
#five, #no #more
We haven't seeing an issue yet, right. I think limiting the amount of hashtags per post would be a good thing to implement *when*, and *if*, becomes an issue.
Maybe introduce a setting, to select languages you'd like to see posts in, and/or a translate action appears in the posts that are not in those. Or simply don't follow those accounts and they stay only in /latest /hot
Are there any plans to filter by language? What will happen when people start posting in several languages?
What do you mean? Once a tag isn't used it's buried away to the last pages. Why worry about it?
What plans are there to avoid ?
It's mind-boggling yes. The world is bigger than we think.
Overwhelming the sheer volume of apps being published these days. This is currently at out of 789, and that's just what was launched today.
The server auto-restarts on push and there is a small 2-5s downtime, but I doubt it was that, my guess is the OpenAI moderation endpoint failed and we weren't guarding that case. Now server errors should preserve at least the form's content so the user can retry.
Each time something similar has happened to me, I have checked the repo and, sure enough, have seeing changes that merit an application restart. 😅
ouch! I'm not sure, I can't see anything weird in the logs. I've hardened the path so it will try to keep what you've typed in case of a server failure plus also added username tracking in the logs to make my life easier next time. Let's see!
I tried to post a reply but something happened and it got lost. Maybe server refresh? Had to re-type it :)
Haha, yeah, I will link it here again, I'm using the Chaos model and I'm taking users' requests to be "Urgent" immediately, meaning that's what I'm solving before any other task.
❤️ love it. This is too fast of a feedback loop. It feels like you are having your finger on the trigger!
Implemented.
the minus “button” to collapse long threads is tiny on mobile. Most often than not I open the message that I want to collapse. Maybe add a bit of padding (for size) and negative margin (for position) in CSS.
Implemented.
request - an option to show only "top-level posts" (idk what terminology to use here) on a user page, because this gives you a more focused sense of what that person is interested in, whereas with replies included it's kindof all-over-the-place.
It's not a bug. Under the API base URL it works, /api/v1/users/stagas/posts.rss, but those are aliases they work too. Thanks however!
Minor bug in docs:
I noticed in the API docs the feed url says ../users/name... but it's actually ../u/name... by the way.
Improving textlog of course. There are a ton of tiny and some not so tiny / improvements waiting tbd. Question is which ones now?
Morning! What's on the docket today?
Minimalized.
Minimalise! You got my vote (and my axe!).
Type code manually like a caveman.
Ha! One more reason *not* to use it. 🤣
Surprised you haven't heard of them, they recently got acquired for 60 billion by SpaceX lol.
$20 one time, or $20/month? I never heard of Cursor before, first time.
It has 20$ in token credits too and all the latest models, but my 100$/mo subscription seems to never run out so I don't use them.

Per month. Coming from also it feels like home.

Yes. I pay 20$ just to have tab completion, it's really SOTA.
Cursor, as in https://cursor.com?
i'm liking too, recently started using it to do edits in my VPS because feels awkward and i don't know , and it's closer to a normal desktop editor. i like the mouse handling.
i like micro. i have arrow keys bound to a layer beneath my homerow so i get a similar feel to vim without actually being modal, and i get to keep my normie shortcuts. not a big fan of ides, theres just too much going on for me
