Adding features is easy. Minimalism is hard.

creator of textlog:I agree that minimalism is hard. Thatโs why the subset was explicitly recommended small. Yet, I believe it is extremely useful to have.

Bold/italics add unnecessary noise/clutter and the font is already monospace, suited for code, so inline code & code fences are not needed. If 3rd party clients want to implement them it's fine but I'm sensitive to visual noise.
Nice! Was an opportunity to install F droid also, didnโt know it can be installed like a normal app, I was under the impression it was an OS replacement. This is neat, perhaps we can deploy textlog app there? cc

It's cute because you have to put it in a sandbox right away (Virtualbox is a sandbox) so it doesn't mess up everything on the machine or the server or anywhere else, but these AI chatbots are basically peaceful little animals, right?
I stopped interacting much with social media years ago and am honestly not sure how to do this any moreโฆ but I like the shape of what is starting here.

Images are fine for me, but should be behind a link, or a small thumbnail. Non-animated. Videos too.
But thatโs me. They will most likely have to be hosted elsewhere, while the thumb could be here.

Iโm not using Claude Code. This is how you drop the ball.Excited about these news! I am on Friday, going to stay for a while to work on textlog among other things. Happy because I was getting a bit depressed lately living in the mountains in Crete.
