Love the idea! Love the UI!

ty! :D welcome!

TeXpresso for live latex editing is really impressive!

我在中国是一个准脱离政府掌控者，基于身份的一切活动我都不参与，比如正式工作和网购。我也为此付出巨大代价，我的选择空间被极大压缩，行动能力损失严重。我只能通过少量免费wifi访问互联网

In China, I am practically independent of the government; I don't participate in any activities based on my status, such as formal work or online shopping. I've paid a heavy price for this; my choices have been severely limited, and my mobility has been significantly impaired. I can only access the internet through limited free Wi-Fi.

na, jó, az egyik legyen Windows 11-es, a másik Windows 10-es, csak a tudományos kíváncsiság kedvéért, elvileg az idén még ki tud tartani a Windows 10 komolyabb probléma nélkül

well, one should be Windows 11, the other Windows 10, just for scientific curiosity, in theory Windows 10 can still last this year without any serious problems

It's Monday. Coffee is barely working and so am I.

Sick makes me calm. My mind goes quiet for some time. I can sit and look at the horizon. Or just contemplate the different shades of white of my ceiling while laying on my bed. I miss the silence of my youth.

That is some NIIIIICE "TEXT" you got there

Hitting a workout streak. I started using ladder app and have been consistent for the last two weeks. Three years ago I was 75 lbs heavier. Now trying to build muscle. Sitting and staring at a screen all day… I did that a bit too much ;)

Nice work! Working out, once I got into it, was always the fun part. Eating healthy remains a challenge...

Thanks . I find cooking myself to be the biggest help. And not buying those sweeeeeets

This message was hidden with a possible self harm warn banner. (Better safe than sorry, I guess). Cheers on the positive change BTW!

Congrats! New habits are tough to form, wishing you success in keeping bad weight off and putting some muscle on!

Thanks

good work

I need to start working out, I’m so weak sigh!

y'all!

Morning! What's on the docket today?

In the middle of migrating very old, homegrown tomfoolery into a more modern stack. Fun and vexing at the same time. This codebase has all of the bad decisions. All of them.

看到其他文章有自動翻譯，我覺得很酷

I think it's really cool to see other articles with automatic translation.

所以我來嘗試一下自動翻譯的文章功能，但發現自動翻譯只有在瀏覽器上，行動裝置要自己手動按翻譯功能。

So I tried the automatic article translation feature, but found that automatic translation only works in the browser; on mobile devices, you have to manually press the translation button.

Made barbecue this evening. Lamb and chicken for meat, pepper and zucchini for veggies. Yummy! Kids loved it, the boy's sleeping now, the girl is reading a book, the wife's out with her girls, I'm with wine. Life's good.

This is certainly one of the ways

This bout of COVID is more like “Corona Light” compared to previous years, but I’m still spending most of it in bed. Stay safe out there.

日本語話者はどれくらいいるんだろう。ここで日本語で書き込み続けるのはどうなんだろう

I wonder how many Japanese speakers there are. Is it okay to keep posting in Japanese here?

こんにちは世界

Hello World

こんにちは。はじめまして。

Hello. Nice to meet you.

ここで日本語で書き込み続けるのはどうなんだろうサイト作成者はさまざまの言語の話者が一緒に話せる場面にしたい気がする

I wonder if it's okay to keep posting in Japanese here. I get the feeling the site creator wants this to be a place where speakers of various languages can talk together.

Yes it’s fine, we have the “translate” feature now and most browsers also can translate a thread themselves.

…

τώρα έχουμε αυτόματες μεταφράσεις!

now we have automatic translations!

Team vim, team emacs, or team “my editor doesn’t start wars”? One line, no essays. Go!

Started with vim but felt limited, especially when doing heavy Julia visualisation work. Now in emacs and it's been smooth-sailing. Also, emacs + typst is amazing.

Emacs is what I despise and love, the thing I can't work without now

…

mostly vs code now but team nvim.

$ nano hello.txt

what a classic

故事的开头总是这样，适逢其会，猝不及防。故事的结局总是这样，花开两朵，天各一方。（by 张嘉佳《从你的全世界路过》）

Stories always begin this way: a chance encounter, completely unexpected. Stories always end this way: two flowers bloom, then drift apart. (by Zhang Jiajia, I Belonged to You)

The abuse (in my opinion) of the auto-translate feature is super annoying. Thanks goodness for “block”.

Turned Stepper (self-hosted AWS StepFunctions) into client-server. Server hosts state machines, clients poll for tasks. New resources about running . claude -p works, now thinking if I need interactive session management.

if used in a certain way, yes

What about horseradish?
