Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesnโ€™t only happen to artificial neural networks, Iโ€™ve had it happen to me a few times. Ansible just melds with my way of thinking better. I have a really hard time wrapping my head around nested loops in HCL and the overall "ugliness" of the language. Plus, I kind of like being in control of the order things are created.

The slowness is intentional. I wanted to make it look more like a user doing it than a script so it doesn't set off any alarms. I have it waiting from 1 to 3 seconds between clicks to slow it down. :-) So far so good!

Unfortunately no. Just starting it. Got the proof of concept loading a dir with its sub-dirs then rendering on the GPU in textures silky smooth. 1.7mb executable, but will need to level up to SDL and that will double the size I think.

I think a lot of the pull around Omarchy is you get a riced desktop out of the box? Personally, I wouldn't really consider it for a number of reasons but I do appreciate a nice looking desktop. If you want something similarly pretty but a bit more normal and less monolithic (who needs a whole 'distro' for what Omarchy provides anyway?) approach then I'd suggest Niri + Noctalia.
