Hmm, I think is on vacation, or otherwise engaged with other affairs...

Water sort is a fun game available on fdroid on Android devices.

Nice! Was an opportunity to install F droid also, didn’t know it can be installed like a normal app, I was under the impression it was an OS replacement. This is neat, perhaps we can deploy textlog app there? cc

Certainly think so! I just hope to get rid of the scan warning at one point cause it's also annoying..

Been working on an old mastodon hosting project I tried to start a few years ago, with a focus on privacy. This is the first big project I've tried to come back to with the help of coding agents and find it invigorating, and gives me the confidence to actually finish the project. Who knows if it will ever make a dollar, but it sure is fun to watch my ideas come to life.

my initial google on this topic wasn't very fruitful... are there any harnesses that let switch between Claude and Codex when you have the 20/month plans 'seamlessly'. rough edges are fine but I'd like to maintain memories between harnesses.

Anybody here using mastodon regularly? What instance are you on? I can't decide on where to register 😅

replied to:

I'm using mastodon.social but i think you can look the instances in their site and decide by interest.

There's a really good one run by someone in the Netherlands. He forked the software and made a ton of improvements. I was on there six years ago. I wish I could remember the name.

Ah! Qoto.org! It looks like it might be gone now though :/

I decided to use mstdn.social/@zbr - I like that’s it’s not too crowded and has a 500 word limit.

did they silently decrease the subscription limits on codex? (in addition to reintroducing the 5h limit?) subscription models suck so bad when they can just change the terms and make the product shittier.

replied to:

I reached the limit also for the first time on the $100. Either that or we’re just using them more.

I remain ambiguous. This morning I used pi+gpt5.6 to create a color scheme based on evergarden.moe. It works, and I haven’t checked how well it stay true to the style used in vim-bundled schemas. It doesn’t have the high but it will make you more alert, kind of like tea or coffee.

I just took a look on it yesterday and seems like the stimulant effect is there, so seems like at this point there are mix results on if it actually helps with anxiety and sleep issues. For me personally seems to work just fine but Im not 100% sure how much does it actually does something for me or is just a placebo effect. My thinking is that if I do it from time to time, I can let my body get use to the feeling of a sleep schedule without create dependency on external melatonin dosis or CBD.

I HEARD A GREAT HORNED OWL. one of my birding goals is to see any owl outside a zoo. I just moved here and the lack of birds near our home has made me sad. but hearing this owl was such a fun surprise tonight.

replied to:

That’s awesome. There’s an owl (don’t know type) that hangs out at the playground in our neighborhood at night. First time I saw it, I stood frozen in place, amazed that it would be out in the open. Then as I walked away, I kept looking behind me, realizing I’d never hear it coming if it decided to engage 🦉

Merlin Bird ID is magical. Put it in your pocket for the next encounter. If anything, you'll have your phone out ready to throw like a stone in the event you have to roll a die to evade and attack.
