when I took insulin I would always forget and got a cap that had a time since the last time I had uncapped the pen, worked really well so I never double dosed. they make similar tools for pill bottles, but the best has been just having a pill case as much as it makes me feel old.

I’ve disabled ALL notifications except my meds. I highly recommend it. I check messaging or emails every hour or sometimes once a day. If I’m expecting someone to message me I’ll re-enable the app, but then disable after. It is so liberating!

That’s how I’ve had it but it didn’t work because I’d get my midday notification like 1 hour after waking up. My day pattern ≠ pill pattern. They just have to be spaced properly so I’d have to have relative notifications according to when I wake up lol.

Yeah. It's a very large project with lots of dependencies. <The system prompt is long and wastes tokens. If you have ideas for tools (or automations like the agents.sh "loop" I wrote) it's easier if you understand the harness.

Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesn’t only happen to artificial neural networks, I’ve had it happen to me a few times. Especially with pin numbers, newer pins overwriting old ones and I’m always scared when I’m having hard time remembering something that this catastrophic interference applied and now the information is gone from my brain.

Really glad to be using Haskell for work - especially in today's climate with agentic coding. Our team uses containers to keep our development environment consistent across team members, though, and most agent sandbox approaches want to either offload your work fully to the cloud or they want to sandbox the agent harness process itself. It's tangential to the sandboxing topic, really. I started the first post with a broader intent in mind and then elaborated on the sandboxing setup I'm working on. For AI-assisted coding, though, it's nice because Haskell provides a lot of feedback earlier in the development process compared to lots of other languages. It tends to work once it compiles (obviously not all the time).

A lot of the professional content I see feels like most Netflix series. They have all the elements - but the overall experience is still meh. Quality is still hard to achieve.

Reminds me of the Kiwix offline Wikipedia "nopic" version. (I downloaded that version because it's much smaller than the full version that includes images.)

Images are fine for me, but should be behind a link, or a small thumbnail. Non-animated. Videos too. But that’s me. They will most likely have to be hosted elsewhere, while the thumb could be here. Nah. We are ok with just text.

Yeah, before you know it the feed becomes a collection of memes. Have to click or perhaps a browser extension that you personally see the opengraph/linked image in the feed but it's not inviting people to post them for the feed itself.
