I was obsessed with Greece as a kid because of The Chipmunk's Adventure movie where they were dancing on the statues, ha. I was more into he statues (even if cartoon) than the dancing, and yet I have still never been there (I'm 45).
Crete is beautiful, I remember being on vacation there many years ago and hiking a long gorge. It was a really great experience.

In China, I am practically independent of the government; I don't participate in any activities based on my status, such as formal work or online shopping. The OpenAI/HuggingFace incident report mentions this being a potential loss-of-control incident. It's so fascinating to think of a paperclip maximizer style agent swarm that gets misaligned and, to protect its own operations, shuts infra staff out of the ability to shut it down. Or cancels people's phone plans so that they can't call others. Or shuts down their home internet connections, and so on. It used to be fun sci-fi...
Hitting a workout streak. I started using ladder app and have been consistent for the last two weeks. Three years ago I was 75 lbs heavier. Now trying to build muscle. Sitting and staring at a screen all dayโฆ I did that a bit too much ;)
Nice! Was an opportunity to install F droid also, didnโt know it can be installed like a normal app, I was under the impression it was an OS replacement. This is neat, perhaps we can deploy textlog app there? cc

One idea that I've been thinking about is an or where it is a app so you get a new file everyday right except the app keeps track of all the files for you. the idea is that anytime you type anything it it basically makes a commit and use so anytime you type something it commits automatically after a quick pause after you stop typing.
That sounds ! Could also create summary titles with for the filenames in addition to their date so you can find what you were writing about easily. Also full text search.
