Probably. There's too much ambiguity over a lot of these terms because of how other #socialmedianotesenter to follow sites (ab)use them. But if "home" means a timeline of those you follow and "@" means replies and mentions, then yes.
I answered
following and inbox because this choice felt like the most logical among the choices presented. However, inbox feels like a chore and not fun.

I’m leaning to something like “following” and “to you” as they are the most unambiguous. “following” is already the name of the tab in your profile, and it represents exactly the sources of the content of the tab in the home screen. “to you” is already used in the meta prose “X replied to you” so again it falls natural. I agree with @kuprofileenter to followHai I am ku that “inbox” sounds like a chore.

What the "for you" means? Often I find things there, but, why are they "for me"? What's the criteria? Same for "to me". Are "to me" replies to my notes, or comments, or are they something else? I will start by defining what exactly are those two, before getting into further weeds.

The thing is, these tabs evolved. They used to have different meaning initially, but now they are doing different things. “For you” contains all conversations you participate including your own posts when they have replies. “To me” contains only replies, mentions and follows directed to you. “Latest” isn’t latest anymore, it’s a feed of all the conversations with the most active one (the one with the most recent reply) bumped to the top. We’ve switched from chronological to conversation views.

As long as we're doing this, may I put forth that the "hot" tab runs counter to the principle that removing view counts and timestamps seemed to embody? I'd rather have a "random" tab than a hot.

I’ve given a lot of thought about that. My thinking was to keep some older nice posts a bit more alive to keep the discussion going. And it works to a percentage. But as it is now with the new conversation views it overlaps a lot with “latest” as the active conversations get bumped to the top anyway, so the current “hot” topics are in latest’s first page naturally. So I might refactor the algorithm a bit to favor top level posts. I think it’s worth it, new users especially discover posts there..
