I hate it when I don’t remember if I took my midday pill or not. Not that it matters a lot, but still, annoying. I have notifications set up but I discard them by habit because they are exact times and my sleep pattern fluctuates.

I’ve disabled ALL notifications except my meds. I highly recommend it. I check messaging or emails every hour or sometimes once a day. If I’m expecting someone to message me I’ll re-enable the app, but then disable after. It is so liberating!

While I’m enjoying working on this -only site, I miss the dealing with . I’m thinking of doing a sister-project where you can record shareable voice-snippets which can then be embedded in and elsewhere by their permalinks.

More like imgbb.com or , except for audio. Using Open Graph meta so it’s portable anywhere with just an <audio> tag pointing to the resource. It will have an image of the waveform yes (again from OG) and below the <audio> tag when shared here.
Oooh. I see. Is universal audio support good in browsers? I think only mp3 is well supported, but unsure.

Did you delete the recording? Seems like it. How did you integrate? I don’t see an api! Maybe you mean that you added support to fetch a shared vocaroo audio to process it - embed and create a thumb?
Made an important decision today to remove bots entirely from . @hn10 was deleted and we’ll no longer have bot accounts and they won’t be accepted into the platform. It was an experiment but I felt it was diluting the conversations and the cozy human character of .
Syndication bots are ok, as long as the content you’re sharing is yours.
I’ll miss hn10 but as you say - things were becoming more diluted by the sheer amount of posts by it.
Have you thought about say bots.textlog.cc where it is a bot-only space and users of
