textlog

I've been curious about the reasoning for prices too. Like, there has to be research behind it... But I agree it is far easier to buy four 2.5€ services than one for 5

People have no idea how many news websites, SaaS websites, and apps I would subscribe to at prices of $30/year or less ($2.50/month).

🔥 Is it possible to close the "and more" dialog when you tap outside of it?

It is quite amazing what you can run in those small VPSes if you just build with them in mind.

textlog runs on a 2.5€/mo vps 1 core/2gb ram, using just one instance of Bun with its embedded SQLite. Works perfect and I run a few other apps as well on that machine.

I certainly prefer no vocals too for the most part. And jazz, yeah that sounds really chill and comfy

i don't do any coding but i do spend a lot of time on the computer and have music going constantly, mostly free improvisation and free jazz, also some 'experimental' internet radio stations and some plain old classical stuff. my preference is for instrumental music without vocals

Techno (and metal) coders are a special lot. I can't fathom trying to focus to that kind of intensity. But I know you're not alone, but I sure can't understand it ^_^

I have hallucinate.site playing all day. It has about 1100+ live 1-hour sets from #HÖR_Berlin1 note0 followersenter to follow playing randomly, when I don't like a set I change it but most of the time it's fine. It's #techno3 notes2 followersenter to follow.

Awesome!

Yup, fixed in latest already.

Ah, that makes it clear then. Thank you. I feel I kinda need to get up to speed with ai coding tools, having been on parental leave and stuff for almost a year.

It started as a #vscode3 notes0 followersenter to follow fork but now has also one extra interface that is agentic only - which I never use - I prefer the good old IDE and it's nice that they keep them both.

Is it just me or does it mark my own posts as unread? As soon as I make a post, the "for you" header display a dot and I need to go there to mark my own post as read

The /for-you page became even more interesting - you will now see an unread entries status dot and highlighted items similar to the /activity page! So you don't miss a thing. #tlog63 notes17 followersenter to follow #feature30 notes4 followersenter to follow

I'm really out of the loop of modern ai coding tools, but I thought cursor was a separate IDE entirely

#Cursor1 note0 followersenter to follow user here - can't live without its tab completion and #vscode3 notes0 followersenter to follow's features - also all integrations I need are there

It's really sad that this is such a common sentiment whenever there's a nice online community nowadays. Guess most of us have been burnt enough times by now

I like this, it feels like Reddit before what it is now, but I feel like it won’t be long until the internet destroys this place. Until then I’m happy to be here.

This is very welcome! I don't know how many times I had already tapped posts to go to the comment chain, just to realize that wasn't the place ^_^

Great idea, implemented here! Thanks for the #feature30 notes4 followersenter to follow suggestion.

Classic boiled coffee in a pan. But I have been thinking it might be the circumstances where you do coffee like that (summer vacations, hiking, fishing) more than the actual coffee.
