Visiting, for the first time. It's about a 9 hour drive from home so we've never made the trip, but so worth it. Went to Ile d'Orleans yesterday, just... so quiet and beautiful. Architect/lead have a pre-refinement with product to clear 80% of the obvious questions. We share an agenda, devs can ask questions async. In the refinement product presents, we design a solution draft. 15 minutes/item. This doesn't work if product is incompetent and everything is AI-slopped.

I'm going to go down low and train myself on the fundamentals. When I wrote an HTTP sever (albeit HTTP/1.1), I learned how primitive the HTTP protocol its magic became a skill. It is freeing understanding how things work and allows me to choose where to spend time with more intention.

It is good it exists. “Registration” is fairly open (and that’s good!), which could make the platform prone to abuse (and that’s bad).
