I loved the book and Iโ€™m always fearful when a movie script is developed and a movie produced, so my relief after I saw the movie was immense. I too feel theyโ€™ve cut-out some bits, but the main thing that a book almost always takes my breath away with is fueling my imagination. A movie would (possibly) never nail that aspect.
profilefollowreplied toprofilefollowI carved wooden spoons and my favourite herb is lemon thyme.:
I just watched it as well. It was fun. There were a number of things that I felt weren't explained well and broke my suspension of disbelief; I haven't read the book, but I found myself really curious whether the book takes the time to justify things more. Obviously, the movie has a lot of pressure to rush to the next "big moment".

I got an email from battle.net to confirm my age. Apparently some content may be restricted to minors in the region my account is from. You would think that the account having been created 19 years ago, and with some CD-keys of games from the late 1990's having been added to it would be enough proof, but oh well.
szerintem jรณl sikerรผlt a cรญmvรกltoztatรกs a honlapon: a bรถlcsรฉszeti underground majdnem olyan ellensรฉges รฉrzรฉseket vรกlt ki emberekbล‘l, mint a skizofrรฉnia underground, lehet vรกlasztani, ki melyiket utรกlja jobban
I think the title change on the website was a good one: the humanities underground evokes almost as much hostility from people as the schizophrenia underground, you can choose which one you hate more

Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesnโ€™t only happen to artificial neural networks, Iโ€™ve had it happen to me a few times. Especially with pin numbers, newer pins overwriting old ones and Iโ€™m always scared when Iโ€™m having hard time remembering something that this catastrophic interference applied and now the information is gone from my brain.
curious to know whats the experience of production push in other companies? e.g lots of documents/approvalsโ€ฆ

You look in the corner, you see a guy quietly eating cigarette butts. It's ok. He's dealing with a lot of stress from work. He takes care of his family. Capitalism

Likewise... you look in the corner, you see a guy quietly eating cigarette butts. It's ok. He's dealing with a lot of stress for lack of work, or food, or future. He wants to take care of his family. Communism. We havenโ€™t figured out yet. Maybe we never will.
