Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesn’t only happen to artificial neural networks, I’ve had it happen to me a few times. Especially with pin numbers, newer pins overwriting old ones and I’m always scared when I’m having hard time remembering something that this catastrophic interference applied and now the information is gone from my brain.

I know many small business owners, and a clear majority do have investors, whether spouse, parents, or a small business loan. Easily more than 50% never make a profit. I know a woman who ran a clothing retail store for over a decade, who was never able to pay herself a dime. When the pandemic hit, everyone closed, but the ones who actually needed the business to pay their bills opened up as soon as it was allowed or shortly thereafter. Many took years. Lot of wildlife run-ins on my neighborhood trails this week. Ran past three deer yesterday, including a buck. Then a hare as I made it to the top of San Pedro Mountain this morning.
